Julie Chen Moonves hosts the hit summer reality series Big Brother, which returned to its 22nd season from August 5 on CBS.Chen Moonves was one The original hosts of the Emmy-nominated Daytime Talk show The Talk, serving as host and moderator from the year 2010 until 2018. Her real passion came when she started writing, and was awarded an Emmy. Hosting an outstanding entertainment talk show earned her an additional Emmy. The Talk examines contemporary events by looking through the eyes of five female hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News The Early Show's early morning news show The Early Show for a 10 years. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and hosts on The Early Show. After the terrorist attacks on 9/11 Chen Moonves was able to track down the father and leader hijacker to give an exclusive interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton Ohio (1995-1997). She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS in the late 1990s, as well as an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) during her senior year at the University of Southern California. As a desk assistant in the ABC News late night broadcast Nightline she was a part of the team that worked with Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker for Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that looked at what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
